Tammy Baldwin followed through on her shameful promise today, joining an unprecedented filibuster of Judge Neil Gorsuch’s nomination to the Supreme Court. Baldwin’s ridiculous hypocrisy on Supreme Court nominees is abundantly clear when you look no further than her own Twitter page:
“If Tammy Baldwin thinks folks in Wisconsin can’t see through her phony conviction to block Judge Gorsuch’s confirmation process, she’s sorely mistaken,” said NRSC Communications Director Katie Martin. “Baldwin is hypocritically denying an up-or-down vote on Judge Neil Gorsuch when just months ago she said doing so was ‘disrespectful to the American people.’ It’s evidently clear Baldwin is more interested in games than having a functioning Supreme Court.”
