Washington, D.C – Bernie Sanders is making his demands for a $3.5 trillion (really $5 trillion) reckless tax and spending spree quite clear to his Democratic colleagues. For Democrats, it’s Bernie’s way or the highway. Sanders reportedly told his fellow far-Left Senators that they “better be with us” on the reckless tax and spending spree. And The Hill reported that radical Democrats are “warning that any attempts by moderates to pare down a $3.5 trillion spending package” would be unacceptable.

Following Bernie’s threats, “Squad” Leader AOC went further to say that progressives have “more than enough” votes to kill the bipartisan infrastructure plan if they do not also get their socialist spending spree. Bernie Sanders and his fellow far-Left radicals are committed to hold Congress hostage in order to pass their $3.5 trillion reckless tax and spending spree. Pragmatist? Not so much.

Statement from NRSC Spokeswoman Katharine Cooksey: “Bernie Sanders is leading the charge to shape Senate Democrats’ reckless tax and spending spree. In the process, he’s forcing fake moderate Senators Maggie Hassan, Mark Kelly, Raphael Warnock, Catherine Cortez Masto, and Michael Bennet to vote in favor of $5 trillion in inflation-inducing, socialist spending. Voters will no doubt remember Senate Democrats’ commitment to job-killing tax hikes, wasteful spending, and skyrocketing inflation when they head to the ballot box in 2022.”
