Washington, D.C. – In September, the Biden Administration told Americans that about 100 citizens were left in Afghanistan. Last week, the State Department said the number was actually 363. Today, the Pentagon says that number is actually 450! Of the nearly 450 Americans, the Administration has confirmed that 196 want to escape – a number that is double original estimates.
Today’s news is the latest in a series of inexcusable blunders by the Biden Administration as they surrendered Afghanistan to the Islamofascist Taliban. Leaving one American behind enemy lines is unacceptable; leaving 450 is a dereliction of duty that is inexcusable.
And yet, Senate Democrats are still silent. Not a peep from Senators like Maggie Hassan, Raphael Warnock, Mark Kelly, Catherine Cortez Masto, or Michael Bennet criticizing Joe Biden and his Administration for this disaster. Politics is more important to them than the lives of Americans.

Today, we know the scale is far larger than we ever thought. The American people won’t soon forget the Administration’s gross incompetence, nor will they forget the cowardly silence from Senate Democrats.”
