Washington, D.C. – Joe Biden’s approval rating remains at historic lows while inflation continues at record levels. According to the latest Politico/Morning Consult poll, Biden’s approval rating is 39% with 59% disapproving of the job Biden has done as president. Only one quarter of Americans say the country is headed in the right direction.
Meanwhile, prices continue to rise with July’s Consumer Price Index rising 8.5%. Inflation is eating away at Americans’ hard-earned paychecks. Real average hourly earnings dropped 3% in July, the 16th straight month of declining earnings.
Three quarters of Americans say the country is headed in the wrong direction because prices are rising, and their paychecks are shrinking. That didn’t stop Senate Democrats from jamming through even more reckless spending under the cover of darkness last weekend.
Senate Democrats like Mark Kelly, Catherine Cortez Masto, Maggie Hassan, Raphael Warnock, Patty Murray and Michael Bennet own inflation. In an evenly divided Senate, they have the power to stop Biden’s reckless agenda. But they’re too weak to stand up to Joe Biden and D.C. Democrats.
