Joe Biden is taking the phrase “records were made to be broken” to a whole new level.
The Biden Administration is all over the place when it comes to the border crisis they created. But they’ve been consistent in one area: breaking illegal immigration records. Another month has passed and another illegal immigration record has been shattered. Preliminary numbers indicate that 210,000 illegal immigrants were apprehended in July. That’s over 21,000 more apprehensions than June and the highest in over 20 years. And more than 19,000 unaccompanied minors were apprehended in July, breaking the previous record of 18,877 set by…you guessed it…Joe Biden.
The Biden Administration is going to have to come up with a better excuse than “seasonal migration” to explain the border crisis they created. Because in the scorching hot summer months – when border crossings are usually low – illegal border crossings continue to rise at record pace.
Joe Biden and Senate Democrats have come up with excuse after excuse to deflect blame for their failed amnesty and open borders agenda. Whether it’s “seasonal migration” or so-called “root causes,” the excuses don’t stop – and neither does the record-breaking flow of illegal immigrants.
