Bill Nelson just voted no on Judge Brett Kavanaugh’s nomination to the Supreme Court choosing, once again, to put party over Florida.

But this was all part of Bill’s plan. He never intended to vote for the eminently-qualified jurist and even proclaimed he expected to vote against the nominee before anyone had been named. Then he didn’t even bother to meet with Judge Kavanaugh.

Whether it’s voting against tax cuts for Floridians or obstructing the confirmation of qualified jurists to the Supreme Court, Bill Nelson would rather be Chuck Schumer’s stooge than a real senator for Floridians.

“For decades, Bill Nelson has been content choosing his political party over Floridians and today is no different,” said Camille Gallo, NRSC Spokesperson. “Bill Nelson’s decision to, once again, obstruct an eminently-qualified judge from the Supreme Court only proves he’d rather be his party bosses’ loyal stooge than a senator for Floridians.”
