Since Bob Casey is grandstanding in Erie, pretending to have the backs of GE employees facing layoffs, he surely doesn’t have financial ties to the company, right?

Of course he does! Since his first Senate campaign in 2006, Bob Casey has accepted at least $18,700 in campaign contributions from individuals connected to General Electric. Since Casey has determined that the company “worship[s] at the altar of the shareholder only,” will he return these donations? Or is he a typical career politician who says one thing and does another?

“Bob Casey should do his job and work to help create jobs in Pennsylvania instead of grandstanding after his campaign donors close factories,” said NRSC Spokesman Bob Salera. “Instead of asking GE executives for donations, perhaps Bob Casey should have asked them to keep jobs in Pennsylvania.”

GE Donations to Bob Casey:

Casey accepted $6,700 in the 2006 cycle.

Casey accepted $1,000 in the 2008 cycle.

Casey accepted $9,000 in the 2012 cycle.

Casey accepted $1,000 in the 2014 cycle.

Casey accepted $1,000 in the 2018 cycle.
