Elizabeth Warren, Chuck Schumer, and the rest of Bob Casey’s far left pals are making it clear that they will do everything in their power to keep President Trump’s Supreme Court nominee from coming up for a vote, even going so far as to promise a filibuster on anyone put forward by the President.
This strategy is in direct conflict with Casey’s and other Senate Democrats’ statements from just last year on giving Supreme Court nominees a timely vote. So will Casey stand by his beliefs and support a timely vote on President Trump’s nominee? Or will he go along with the far left, which has vowed to keep the seat open for the next four years and join a filibuster?
“Pennsylvania voters have spoken,” said NRSC Spokesman Bob Salera. “If Bob Casey joins his far left colleagues in filibustering President Trump’s nominee to the Supreme Court, he will be demonstrating that his allegiance is to his party, not to Pennsylvanians.”
