At the first debate in the Tennessee Senate race, Tennessee voters got a good hard look at Phil Bredesen’s out of touch record.

On issues like the economy, health care, the Second Amendment and illegal immigration, Bredesen made it clear he is more interested in siding with Washington liberals than President Trump and Tennessee voters. Congressman Marsha Blackburn used the debate platform to clearly establish how she will continue to improve the economy, work with President Trump and crack down on illegal immigration.

“Phil Bredesen showed Tennessee voters exactly why they can’t afford to send him to the U.S. Senate,” said NRSC Spokesman Michael McAdams. “Marsha Blackburn laid out a clear choice for Tennesseans; support a conservative fighter who will put Tennessee values first and support President Trump’s agenda, or deal with having Tennessee’s interests play second-fiddle to Chuck Schumer’s liberal policies for the next six years.”
