Eccentric liberal billionaire Tom Steyer is bringing his campaign to impeach the President to Ohio, leaving Sherrod Brown in an awkward position as he tries to convince Ohioans that he isn’t the extreme liberal his voting record suggests he is.

Reports show that Steyer, who has been running a national impeachment campaign against President Trump, will be targeting Ohio with his latest set of TV ads. Steyer previously vowed to spend at least $30 million to prop up Democrat candidates in the 2018 election. Since Brown will no doubt happily accept Steyer’s help, he needs to tell Ohioans whether he agrees with the billionaire’s impeachment agenda.

“Billionaires like Tom Steyer think they know better than Ohio voters, but Sherrod Brown is all too eager to accept their money and support,” said NRSC Spokesman Bob Salera. “Brown owes it to Ohioans to come clean on whether he agrees with his billionaire friend’s effort to overturn the 2016 election and impeach President Trump.”
