Washington, D.C. – Last week, Val Demings falsely claimed that the Democrats’ reckless tax and spending spree is a tax cut for middle class families. She went on to say to anyone who disagrees with her, doesn’t care about the truth.
Unfortunately for Val, she’s the one who doesn’t care about the truth. The facts hurt, but they’re still the facts.
According to the non-partisan Tax Policy Center, 20 to 30 percent of middle-income households would pay more in taxes under the Democrats’ plan. And that’s not even taking into account the impact this multi-trillion-dollar spending spree will have on inflation. At the same time, Democrats are pushing to raise the State and Local Tax deduction cap to help their millionaire and billionaire donors in Schumer’s New York and Pelosi’s California.
Tax INCREASES for middle-class families. Tax CUTS for millionaires and billionaires in states controlled by Democrats. That’s Val’s plan for Florida.
