After reportedly angling hard for Clinton’s VP pick, Bayh is resigned to pursue his political ambitions by running for the office he already ditched once.

As CNN’s Manu Raju reported: “I’m told from Democrats who were monitoring his decision, he seemed to be angling, or at least gauging, whether he’d be picked as Hillary Clinton’s running mate."

Bayh certainly has the record to join Clinton’s toxic presidential ticket, repeatedly siding with her and the rest of the Washington establishment at the expense of Indiana families.

Bayh’s efforts to portray himself as a bipartisan savior are undermined by his loyalty to his friend Hillary Clinton – a toxic candidate who just doesn’t represent Hoosier values.

Bayh’s Foundation Donated $4,000 To The Clinton Foundation From 2013 To 2014:

  • In 2014, Bayh’s Foundation Donated $2,000 To The Clinton Foundation. (The Evan And Susan Bayh Foundation, Form 990-PF, FY2014)

  • In 2013, Bayh’s Foundation Donated $2,000 To The Clinton Foundation. (The Evan And Susan Bayh Foundation, Form 990-PF, FY2013)

Bayh Voted With Hillary Clinton 85% Of The Time In The Senate. (CQ Vote Comparison Report, Accessed 7/19/16)

Bayh Is Listed As A “Hillblazer” Meaning He Has Raised At Least $100,000 For Hillary Clinton’s Presidential Campaign. (Hillary Clinton Website, www.hillaryclinton.com, Accessed 7/12/16)

Bayh Said Clinton Is “Smart, She’s Tough, She’ll Be A Fighter For Working Men And Women, Middle-Class Hoosier Families. … And She’s Got The Right Policies.” “Clinton, a former secretary of state, senator and first lady, is ‘smart, she’s tough, she’ll be a fighter for working men and women, middle-class Hoosier families. … And she’s got the right policies,’ Bayh said.” (Brian Francisco, “Bayh Ready To Return To State, Stump For Clinton,” The Journal Gazette, 4/15/16)

Bayh Called The Investigation Of Hillary’s Private Email Server “A Distraction”

In February 2016, Bayh Called Hillary Clinton’s Email Investigation “A Distraction” And Said “The Election Is Really Not Going To Be About Whether She Should Have Using Two Cell Phones As Opposed To One.” KENT: “Final question. Are you worried about the e-mail situation as the FBI and Department of Justice continue to investigate the servers and the classified e-mails?” BAYH: “I’m worried about it because it’s a distraction. It’s taking a lot of time. There is only so much time to go…” KENT: “You don’t think there is legitimacy to this investigation.” BAYH: “Well, I mean, questions have been raised. I can’t say they’re illegitimate. I ultimately don’t think they are going to go anywhere. So, the ultimate issue is, I don’t think there will be an indictment. The election is really not going to be about whether she should have using two cell phones as opposed to one. It’s going to be about middle class economic issues and how we, number one, move this country forward economically. And number two, how we defend this country in a dangerous world that has suicidal terrorists who are out to get us. Those are the two big issues I think people will focus on.” (Fox Business Channel’s, “Risk & Reward,” 2/8/16)

In March 2015, Bayh Said He Would “Bet Everyone Here A Steak Dinner” That Clinton’s Email Investigation “Will Not Be An Issue In The Upcoming Election.” BAYH: “Chris, I’m a frugal man. I will bet everyone here a steak dinner, this will not be an issue in the upcoming election. And the reason for that is that if you don’t like Hillary Clinton, this is just more proof of there she goes again. If you like Hillary Clinton, it’s more proof that she’s getting untreated fairly. For those swing voters, they’re asking themselves, what does this have to do with me? Jobs, wages, health care, education — and therein lies the difficulties of the Republican candidates. They’re not making this election about what it should be about, which is the welfare of the American people.” (Fox’s, “Fox News Su
