Washington, D.C.— Democrat Senator Catherine Cortez Masto has proven to be more on the side of Bernie Sanders than Nevadans. She has promoted excessive government spending by backing the multi trillion-dollar tax and spending spree, been an advocate for open borders and is doing nothing to stop record-breaking inflation.
The Washington Free Beacon recently reported how Cortez Masto is cozying up to far-Left groups that support defunding the police and teaching Critical Race Theory in our schools.
On Nov. 3, Cortez Masto said she was “so glad” to speak at Battle Born Progress’s annual fundraising event, lauding the liberal group as “incredible advocates for our state.” The self-described “public relations firm of the progressive community in Nevada,” Battle Born Progress has taken a number of radical positions on hot-button issues, including the movements to defund police and teach critical race theory in K-12 classrooms.
Even worse, Cortez Masto and the Nevada Democratic Party have joined in “solidarity” with anti-Semites and socialists.
The actions could spell trouble for Nevada Democrats running for reelection next November, including Sen. Catherine Cortez-Masto. Embracing socialism is a risky maneuver in a swing state like Nevada.
It is abundantly clear that Catherine Cortez Masto embraces the radical agenda of the radical Left, voting with Bernie Sanders 94% of the time. Hardworking Nevadans don’t need socialism, they need free market capitalism that allows them to thrive and live the American Dream. Catherine Cortez Masto is a reliable vote for far-Left liberals in Washington, D.C., not families in Nevada.
