“North Carolinians spoke loud and clear tonight: The Democrat vision of high prices, open borders, and leniency toward criminals is not welcomed. Ted Budd’s resounding win over Cheri Beasley dashed one of the Democrats’ top targets at the beginning of this cycle. He ran his race with dignity, clarity and an eye toward the future. Senator-elect Budd will be a great addition to the Senate, and will serve North Carolinians well alongside Senator Tillis. I look forward to welcoming him to Washington.”
