This weekend, Americans across the nation will celebrate workers on Labor Day.
But instead of supporting New Hampshire’s workers, Chris Pappas opposed President Trump’s Working Family Tax Cuts and voted against:
- Protecting 29,000 jobs.
- Increasing the take-home pay for families by up to $11,900.
- Raising wages by up to $8,100.
- Removing taxes on social security for nearly 300,000 seniors.
- Cutting taxes for 23,000 small businesses.
- Bolstering New Hampshire’s manufacturing industry.
- Providing the largest middle-class tax cut in history.
- Eliminating taxes on tips and overtime.
- Making a historic investment in rural healthcare.
“If Chris Pappas had his way, New Hampshire workers would have been hit with the largest tax hike in American history,” said NRSC Regional Press Secretary Samantha Cantrell. “Granite State workers deserve to keep their hard-earned paychecks, and they deserve better than someone like Pappas who voted against tax cuts on Social Security, tips, and overtime.”
Thanks,
Samantha Cantrell, NRSC Regional Press Secretary
