WASHINGTON, D.C. — Rep. Chris Pappas voted yesterday against deporting illegal immigrants convicted of DUI. The legislation would also bar non-citizens convicted of DUI from admission into the United States.

Chris Pappas consistently puts illegal immigrants above American citizens. Pappas:

  • Recently voted against funding to secure the southern border and hire more border agents.
  • Opposes building a wall along the southern border.
  • Voted to protect dangerous sanctuary cities, and refused to support legislation to crackdown on them.

“Chris Pappas is rejecting commonsense and once again putting illegal immigrants above American citizens,” said NRSC Regional Press Secretary Nick Puglia. “Pappas’ support for open borders, dangerous sanctuary cities, and criminal illegal immigrants is out-of-step with New Hampshire families who deserve safe communities.”
