You have to hand it to Claire McCaskill. She’ll say literally anything if she thinks it will help her get reelected.

At her town hall in Ozark yesterday, when talking about EPA regulations, McCaskill told the audience that she “did not support the Waters of the U.S. Rule,” and “thought it went way too far.” The only problem with that statement? McCaskill voted twice to keep the rule in place! McCaskill can keep trying to mislead Missourians with her dishonest rhetoric, but her record shows where she really stands – with liberals in Washington.

“Claire McCaskill continues to peddle her dishonest rhetoric, but Missouri voters know the truth,” said NRSC Spokesman Bob Salera. “From her support for overreaching regulations like WOTUS to her far-left positions on gun control and abortion, it’s clear Claire McCaskill does not stand with Missourians.”
