Claire McCaskill is busy putting on a dog and pony show across Missouri, where she’s holding a series of ‘town halls’ in a futile attempt to show rural voters she’s in touch with their concerns. Unfortunately for Claire, she can’t keep her own positions straight.

Claire had previously voted against Kate’s Law back in 2016, but now that we are entering election season, McCaskill is conveniently changing her tune. During today’s town hall in Macon, Missouri, McCaskill said she would “probably vote for Kate’s Law” if it comes up for a vote in the Senate. So, will McCaskill stay true to her word, or fold to Chuck Schumer and her party of liberal radicals once she returns to D.C.?

Missourians are used to McCaskill being willing to say and do anything to get elected. Just last week, she claimed to be against the devastating Waters of the United States rule, yet she voted to keep the rule in place on multiple occasions.

“Claire McCaskill’s latest flip-flop highlights her political pandering and the reality that Missourians can’t trust a word that comes out of her mouth,” said NRSC Spokesman Michael McAdams. “Folks in Missouri expect their politicians to stay true to their word, something Claire McCaskill has proven unable to do.”
