Democrat Congressman Pays Six Figures to Supporters of Defunding the Police
Washington, D.C. – Conor Lamb is trailing his Democrat opponent John Fetterman by 30 percentage points (!) according to his own Super PAC. They claim it’s because people don’t understand how liberal Fetterman truly is. Given this analysis, one may think that Lamb would take steps to further promote a centrist image.
Wrong. Not with Lamb’s campaign, which can’t seem to get anything right.
According to the Washington Free Beacon, Conor Lamb has paid hundreds of thousands of dollars to a consulting firm that also works for Black Lives Matter, which supports defunding police and abolishing prisons.
Two far-Left liberal initiatives. Not a good look for someone who is trying to come off like a centrist and beat a self-proclaimed socialist in the primary.
Statement from NRSC Spokeswoman Lizzie Litzow: “Not only does Conor Lamb go wherever the political winds blow, he is flailing as he goes. He and his campaign can’t seem to do anything right. One minute he wants to be more liberal and the next he wants to be a centrist, but his actions keep showing the opposite. The more he flails, the more Pennsylvanians will reject him, like they already are.”
