After announcing her candidacy on Friday, Judge has now spent two days in Washington with party insiders and zero days talking to Iowa voters. Yesterday, she met with Harry Reid – after saying she would spend her time traveling around Iowa.
- JUDGE ON FRIDAY: “I Look Forward To Traveling Across Our Great State In The Weeks And Months Ahead. I Hope Iowans Will Support My Campaign And Send A Strong Message About The Kind Of Representation We Want In Washington.” (Rod Boshart, “Democrat Patty Judge announces candidacy for U.S. Senate,” The Gazette, 3/4/16)
While Judge receives her marching orders from party insiders, Washington Democrats seem oblivious to the potentially bruising primary ahead as Rob Hogg continues to collect support from actual Iowans.
The evidence couldn’t be clearer: Patty Judge’s priorities lie with Washington, not Iowa. She owes Iowa families an explanation – if she ever makes it back there.
