Senator Dan Sullivan (R-AK) voted again to open the federal government today, continuing to put Alaskans over illegals. The Schumer Shutdown blocked $4.5 million in funds for Alaska’s rural radio and TV stations, and required emergency funding for the critical Essential Air Service program that was secured by Sullivan and the Trump Administration. Senate Democrats voted 15 times to keep the government closed in favor of giving free healthcare to illegals.
“Dan Sullivan never wavered and fought Democrats’ destructive government shutdown everyday,” said NRSC Regional Press Secretary Nick Puglia. “Alaskans know they have a champion in Sullivan who will always put them first.”
