Washington, D.C. – Val Demings must know her Party’s radical stance on abortion is wildly out of touch with where the voters of Florida are.
That’s why in a recent interview she blatantly lied and claimed she supports abortion “up until the point of viability.” But her record shows otherwise:
- She voted in support of the Women’s Health Protection Act, which would allow late-term abortion up until the moment of birth.
- She voted to kill both the Hyde and Helms Amendments, which protected taxpayers from funding abortions at home and overseas.
- She was proud to receive the endorsement of pro-Pelosi and pro-abortion group EMILY’s List.
Statement from NRSC Spokeswoman Priscilla Ivasco: “Val Demings supports legalizing abortion up until the moment of birth. But don’t take our word for it, just look at her voting record. She votes with Nancy Pelosi and the Squad to legalize abortion up until the moment of birth and force taxpayers to pay for it, but then goes home to Florida and lies about her position. That’s what we’ve come to expect from Pelosi Puppet Val Demings.”
