Democrat Dan Osborn’s fellow Democrats just opposed Republican-led legislation supported by Pete Ricketts to protect Nebraskans from higher energy costs. This is the second time Senate Democrats blocked the bipartisan legislation.
Osborn says Nebraskans’ bills are “going up” because of data centers, but the Fake Independent’s party bosses blocked legislation to protect Nebraskans from higher costs due to data centers.
“Democrat Dan is a radical leftist recruited by socialists, backed by Democrats, and funded by the far-left. Osborn would be another vote for Democrat obstruction in the Senate,” said NRSC Regional Press Secretary Nick Puglia.
Pete Ricketts is fighting to lower costs for Nebraskans. The bipartisan legislation ensures that:
- Nebraskans are protected from higher utility bills.
- Companies pay their own way while building the AI infrastructure America needs.
- Companies provide the power they consume and safeguard local water and natural resources.
- America has the superiority we need to compete with China without passing the costs onto families.
