WASHINGTON – The NRSC is launching a paid Facebook petition ad campaign hitting 2018 Red State Democrats’ close ties to liberal darling Elizabeth Warren’s single-payer, government-run health care plan. The ads are part of a paid national digital ad campaign targeting ten vulnerable Democrats’ home states.
A recent study shows a single-payer plan would cost American taxpayers the steep price of $32 trillion. Do Red State Democrats now support government run health care too? 2018 Democrats do have nearly identical voting records to Elizabeth Warren’s.
The auto-play ads urge voters to tell their Senators to oppose Warren’s single-payer plan and will run statewide while the Senators are home for the July 4th recess and throughout the month.

“Socialized medicine would be disastrous for the economy and devastating for American families, yet Red State Democrats continually side with Elizabeth Warren,” said NRSC Communications Director Katie Martin. “Red State Democrats need to own up to whether or not they’ll follow their leader’s extreme plan over the well-being of folks at home.”
