In case you missed it, Bill Nelson announced that he will not return the campaign money he received from convicted felon Salomon Melgen because he thinks the Melgen money was given too long ago.
Never mind that Bill Nelson’s party boss Chuck Schumer said everyone should return the Melgen money, “no exceptions.”
Never mind that Bill Nelson’s indicted pal Bob Menendez donated the Melgen money to charity.
Never mind that former U.S. Senator Chris Dodd, who received Melgen money well over a decade ago and is no longer in elected office, plans to donate an equal sum to charity.
Is Bill Nelson so desperate to win reelection that he’ll seriously hang on to this dirty money?
