Washington, D.C. – Over the weekend, a transgender UPenn senior swimmer, who competed for the school’s men’s team for two full seasons before joining the women’s team, smashed two U.S. women’s records at the Zippy Invitational Event.  In all, she won three events and set three new school records, including two new Ivy League records.

This, unsurprisingly, sparked outrage and cries of unfairness from athletes and parents, some proclaiming that this is “a disgrace for all the hard-working female swimmers.”

Earlier this year, Senate Democrats like Mark Kelly, Maggie Hassan, Catherine Cortez Masto, Raphael Warnock, and Michael Bennet voted to allow biological men to compete in women’s sports. It’s a move that, as we are seeing play out at UPenn, will destroy women’s sports as we know it.

Do Pennsylvania Democratic Senate candidates agree with their buddies in Washington and what is happening right in front of them in their home state? We are waiting to hear from John Fetterman, Conor Lamb, Val Arkoosh and Malcolm Kenyatta. Will they defend women’s sports or, like always, fall in line with the Radical Liberal Culture Warriors in Washington?

The NRSC conducted a poll on this topic and a HUGE majority of Americans oppose men playing in female sports.
