Day one of the hearings for Judge Kavanaugh’s nomination to the Supreme Court turned into a circus, with Democrats launching a coordinated strategy to disrupt and protest the proceedings. And Claire McCaskill was nowhere to be found through all of this, sticking to Chuck Schumer’s directive to keep her powder dry.
With the Judiciary Committee beginning its questioning of Judge Kavanaugh this morning, and Democrats poised to continue their obstruction tactics and deliver an “intense grilling” of the eminently qualified judge, it’s time for McCaskill to make a choice.
