Democrat Senator Joe Donnelly sure is sounding desperate after getting called out yesterday by the Associated Press for hypocritically profiting off of his family company’s outsourcing to Mexico.

Mexico Joe announced that he would sell his stock in his family’s company today, looking to pocket money made on the backs of American workers whose jobs were shipped to Guadalajara. What he left out of his announcement was what he would do with the gains made selling his stock. Mexico Joe stands to collect a tidy profit from the sale of the $15,001-$50,000 worth of stock he reported owning as of 2016. Will those profits go into his own wallet? Or will Mexico Joe, who likes to grandstand against companies who outsource jobs, put his money where his mouth is and donate those funds to help workers affected by outsourcers like his family’s company?

“Democrat Senator Joe Donnelly got caught making money from outsourcing American jobs to Mexico, and his only solution is to sell his stock and pocket the profits,” said NRSC Spokesman Bob Salera. “If Mexico Joe really wants to help Hoosiers affected by outsourcers like his family’s company, he should donate the profits of his stock sale to organizations that help the families of displaced workers.”
