Today, Sherrod Brown is fundraising in California with the out-of-state coastal elites bankrolling his campaign.
Brown—who pretends to fight the elite—has raked in at least $1.2 million from Hollywood elites, including from Elizabeth Banks who infamously sang the cringe 2016 “Fight Song” for Hilary Clinton. Brown’s other Hollywood backers include:
- Aaron Sorkin, who said “the Klan won last night” after President Trump’s 2016 victory.
- Jeff Bridges, who went through a “grieving process” after President Trump’s 2024 victory.
When East Palestine was reeling from a toxic chemical spill, Brown ditched them and flew to the Hollywood Hills to fundraise with his coastal elite pals.
“For 32 years in Washington, Sherrod Brown championed the radical values of Kamala Harris and the coastal elites bankrolling his campaign. Ohioans have had enough of Brown putting California’s values over Ohio’s,” said NRSC Regional Press Secretary Nick Puglia.
