Don’t let Haley Stevens fool you with her tricks. She sent out a fake press release from Abdul El-Sayed, falsely claiming that Mike Rogers endorsed him. This is a serious violation of trust from a candidate for the U.S. Senate who continually calls for transparency.
Don’t fall for her other tricks either:
- Stevens’ dark money supporters are misleading voters to think that she has been endorsed by President Obama, but he has not endorsed a candidate in the race.
- Stevens claims she wants to ban stock trading by members of Congress, but just voted against the Stop Insider Trading Act this week.
- Stevens claims to be a champion for manufacturing, but voted for Biden’s EV mandates that would eliminate 150,000 auto jobs in Detroit.
- Stevens claims to be transparent about who is funding her, despite benefitting from $55 million in dark money spending.
“Haley Stevens is trying to trick voters and the stakes are too high for her to play these games. If she was serious about transparency, she would stop the games and call on all the dark money groups spending for her to disclose their donors,” said NRSC Regional Press Secretary Samantha Cantrell.
