Your national party backers pull their spending and refuse to back your losing campaign.

Politico reports that the DSCC has begun cancelling its Florida ad buy, signaling that Privileged Patrick Murphy has already been shuffled into the loser column at Democrat party headquarters:

“The Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee is canceling a week of TV reservations in Florida’s highly contested Senate race between GOP Sen. Marco Rubio and Democrat Patrick Murphy, according to two media-buying sources.

“The group is canceling advertisements that had been set to run from Sept. 20 to Sept. 26. The DSCC’s ad buy in Florida will now begin on Sept. 27.” (Kevin Robillard, “DSCC Cancelling One Week Of Florida Ads,” Politico,” 9/6/16)

Murphy isn’t exactly a master of talking himself out of trouble. Can’t wait until he fumbles his way through a response on what it means when his own party pulls the plug on his campaign.
