Just when you thought this week couldn’t get any worse for Bill Nelson, it did. Now the Foundation for Accountability and Civic Trust, a nonpartisan ethics group, has filed an ethics complaint against Bill Nelson for his Russia meddling claim and is demanding an investigation into his puzzling behavior.
In their letter, the group writes Nelson’s claim “is especially egregious because Florida citizens are currently voting, and Nelson has repeatedly made serious false claims that may influence voters and undermine the credibility of the election.”
This, of course, comes after DHS and the FBI completely refuted Nelson’s alarming allegations.
But Nelson has remained silent on the matter, refusing to give a thorough explanation of his claim and wildly irresponsible behavior.
The “single worst campaign” just keeps getting shoddier…
“Bill Nelson has a lot of explaining to do and it’s about time for him to start talking,” said Camille Gallo NRSC Spokesperson. “Did he reveal classified information or make the whole thing up? Unfortunately for Bill Nelson, no one will forget his reckless behavior anytime soon.”
