As the GOP tax bill keeps gaining popularity, even Democratic mega-donors are doling out bonuses to their employees.
Haim Saban, one of failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton’s biggest donors, announced he too would give out $1,000 bonuses to his employees thanks to “the most fundamental tax reform since 1986.” Looks like the GOP tax relief plan’s success defies partisan boundaries. So, when will red state Democrats get on board and admit they were wrong to oppose the plan?
“It’s clear red state Democrats’ continued Armageddon predictions are simply partisan rhetoric, considering even one of the largest Democratic donors is praising tax reform and giving out bonuses,” said NRSC Communications Director Katie Martin. “How long are red state Democrats going to continue to embarrass themselves by claiming this tax bill is a disaster when it’s supported by one of their biggest donors?”
