Washington, D.C. — It looks like national Democrats are waking up to what South Carolinians learned a long time ago – Jaime Harrison isn’t very good at politics.

After breaking fundraising records running against Senator Lindsey Graham, Harrison ran an inept, lazy campaign from his basement and ended up getting shellacked by double digits. For some unknown reason, Harrison wound up getting promoted anyway to Chairman of the DNC.

Now, according to a new report, White House officials and prominent Democrats are frustrated with his inept, lazy leadership of the party. “You don’t hear about him. You don’t see him. There’s nothing there. He’s not out there fighting the fight,” said one former Democrat official

In fact, it’s gotten so bad that many Democrat officials think that Harrison is looking to jump ship to avoid the blame he will share when Democrats get shellacked again and lose both houses of Congress.

Somewhere, millions of South Carolinians are nodding in agreement.

Statement from NRSC Spokesman T.W. Arrighi: “No one knows how to waste colossal amounts of money and lose big elections like Jaime Harrison. If he ever decides to actually visit his office in DC, he’ll find that his party is on the brink of losing control of Congress, and there is no other job for him to fail upwards into. For the sake of a Republican majority in the U.S. Senate, we need Jaime Harrison to remain at his post and continue driving the Democrat Party into the ground.”
