Washington, D.C. – There was once a time when job-killing tax hikes were an unpopular idea. But that was before de facto Senate Majority Leader Bernie Sanders took the helm of the Democrat Party. Now, Senate Democrats unanimously support a $3.5 trillion (really $5.5 trillion) reckless tax and spending spree which includes the largest tax hike in history and violates their pledge not to hike taxes on low-income and middle-class Americans.
The Democrats’ latest plan is rife with secret tax hikes that will take money away from workers and job creators, instead sending it to fund Bernie Sanders’s socialist utopia. Even in the face of skyrocketing inflation that impacts low-income and middle-class families the most, Democrats insist that now is the time to shrink paychecks and make it harder for folks to make ends meet.
However, according to a recent poll from the NRSC and RGA, two-thirds of independent voters are less likely to support this reckless tax and spending spree once they learn about its job-killing tax hikes.
Why are Senators Maggie Hassan, Catherine Cortez Masto, Raphael Warnock, Mark Kelly, and Michael Bennet insisting on passing this Bernie-Biden job-killing tax plan?
