Washington, D.C. – Apparently, Pennsylvania Democratic Lt. Gov. and Senate hopeful John Fetterman now wants to defend fracking? Only because he is realizing that, as he says, “a ban would turn off voters.” Of course it would, John. According to NRSC national polling, 62% of voters and 65% of independents oppose a ban on fracking.

Who knows how long this stance of his will last though… Fetterman has been uncertain about where he stands on banning fracking, wanting to ban fracking down the road, and a huge supporter of Bernie Sanders who is all for a ban on fracking.

Fetterman can’t have his cake and eat it too, but he is caught between his hyper-liberal base and Pennsylvanians who support an industry that employs tens of thousands of blue-collar workers.
