WASHINGTON, D.C. — Democrats unilaterally condemned assault and violence from Maine Democrats’ first Senate nominee, Graham Platner, but now they are silent following an explosive Bangor Daily News report recounting law enforcement reports of physical assault and domestic abuse by their current nominee, Troy Jackson.
FLASHBACK TO WHAT DEMS SAID ON PLATNER’S ASSAULT AND ABUSE:
Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee (DSCC) Chair Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand: “The allegations reported today are incredibly disturbing – violence, abuse and sexual assault are absolutely unacceptable.”
