West Virginians will have a chance this week to get into the hotel business, as two of Joe Manchin’s infamous deadbeat hotels go up for auction.
Mountain West Hospitality, one of two tax-evading hotel companies owned by Manchin, has asked for a temporary restraining order against the sale of two hotels, currently set for Thursday, November 30. While Manchin’s other hotel business, Mountain Blue Hospitality, has claimed Manchin is no longer involved, Mountain West has made no such statement. Manchin continues to refuse to comment on any matters involving either of his shady hotel companies.
