Washington, D.C. – With the 2022 election a little less than a year away, NRSC Chairman Rick Scott penned an Op-Ed on Fox News showing just how Republicans can stay on top and win. It isn’t hard to explain why Democrats are losing. They have fully embraced a radical Left agenda that is widely unpopular among Americans, and now voters are having buyer’s remorse. The NRSC will continue to focus on the issues that matter most and defining the Democrat candidates so Americans know that they are actively trying to destroy our country.
I said in March there was going to be a lot of buyer’s remorse when voters saw what Joe Biden and the Democrats were up to with total control of Washington. That was an understatement.
In a recent survey from USA Today and Suffolk University, 46% of voters said Biden has done a worse job as president than they expected. That included 16% of those who voted for him. And in a survey released last week by ABC News and the Washington Post, Republicans held a 10-point advantage in the generic congressional ballot, the largest margin in the 40-year history of the poll.
Here’s what should really scare Democrats vying to maintain control of the majority in the U.S. Senate: in the states that will decide the majority (Arizona, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, New Hampshire, Nevada, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin), Republicans hold a 23-POINT LEAD in the generic ballot. These numbers are consistent with polling we at the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) have done that shows voters across the board rejecting the Democrats’ agenda.

We’ve invested millions in building our digital fundraising operation and – driven by grassroots energy and support – are outraising our Democrat counterparts every month.
If the election were held today, it would be a wipeout. But it’s not. The election will be held a little less than a year from now. Which means now is not the time to pump the brakes. It’s time to keep our foot on the gas. The American people need to know that the Democrats are actively and purposefully trying to destroy our country.
We will spend every day until the 2022 election making sure we stop that from happening.
