Today is the two year anniversary of Hamas’ October 7th attack on Israel. Democrat candidates like Senator Jon Ossoff (D-GA) have spent the last two years pandering to their radical pro-Hamas base instead of standing firmly with Israel.
“As Georgians reflect on the atrocities committed by Hamas on 10/7, it’s more important than ever that they have a Senator who always stands with Israel,” said NRSC Regional Press Secretary Nick Puglia. “Georgia’s Jewish community has rightly criticized Jon Ossoff for pandering to dangerous pro-Hamas leftists in the Democrat Party and obstructing President Trump’s ability to work with Israel to defeat Hamas terrorists.”
Ossoff has failed to stand with Israel when it matters most. Ossoff:
- Repeatedly voted with the radical left to block arms sales to Israel as Israel fights an existential war against Iran and its terror proxies.
- Flip-flopped on blocking arms sales to Israel only after receiving sharp criticism from Georgia’s Jewish community for voting with anti-Israel extremists in the Senate.
- Waited a week to make a comment on Iran’s attacks against Israel in June and sent fundraising emails while ignoring Jewish Georgians who were trying to contact his office after the attacks.
- Dragged his feet on denouncing the antisemitic terrorist attack in Boulder, Colorado.
- Lost Jewish Georgians’ support due to his appeasement of anti-Israel extremists in his party.
