Georgians will have more money in their pockets this tax season thanks to President Trump and Senate Republicans passing the largest middle-class tax cut in history. According to IRS data, the Working Families Tax Cuts Jon Ossoff voted against are saving Americans $2,290 on average this tax season, nearly 11% more than last year. Meanwhile, January inflation cooled to 2.4% year-over-year, beating expectations again.
“President Trump and Senate Republicans are delivering bigger tax refunds and lowering inflation after four years of skyrocketing costs thanks to Democrats like Jon Ossoff,” said NRSC Regional Press Secretary Nick Puglia. “Ossoff voted against these historic middle-class tax cuts and has worked against helping Georgians keep more of their own hard-earned money.”
