Claire McCaskill is heading out to Hollywood this weekend for a reunion with her best friend in politics – former President Barack Obama.
McCaskill will be reliving the good ol’ days, when she was a die hard supporter of all of Obama’s most extreme policies, even over the objections of Missourians. During his time in office, McCaskill voted with Obama an astonishing 93% of the time, including 100% of the time in 2013, the year after their reelections. McCaskill’s record under President Obama stands in stark contrast to her “resistance” of President Trump, whose legislative agenda she has voted against more than 65% of the time. Quite the disparity for someone representing a state President Trump won by 19 points…
“It’s clear Claire McCaskill misses her days of rubber stamping all of Barack Obama’s most extreme policies, but it’s telling that she wouldn’t bring him to campaign in Missouri,” said NRSC Spokesman Bob Salera. “Unlike McCaskill, Missourians have moved on from the disastrous Obama era, and want a Senator who will look out for them, not Democratic Party leaders.”
