You may have seen the National Republican Senatorial Committee’s first TV ad in the Iowa U.S. Senate race about Democrat Theresa Greenfield’s failed business record. If not, watch it HERE.

Greenfield today is shamelessly trying to rewrite her failed business record with a new campaign ad of her own. What’s missing from the ad? Any factual evidence that disputes the claim she’s a failed real estate executive.

Greenfield’s desperate new ad comes as she refuses to answer key questions that Iowans are asking about her failed business record (check out the letter from 11 Iowa small business owners to Greenfield):

  • Greenfield’s failed homebuilding business ran up millions of dollars in debt.
  • Greenfield’s business was repeatedly sued by homeowners and banks for: Fraud. Shoddy work. Not making payments on time.
  • Greenfield’s business folded.
  • Theresa Greenfield’s not a successful businesswoman. She’s a phony whose company didn’t pay its bills while destroying the jobs of Iowa families.

“Greenfield’s failed business record is more proof that she is unprepared to lead,” said NRSC spokesperson Nathan Brand. “Hiding behind campaign commercials won’t cut it for Hawkeye State voters who are demanding answers about her failed business record.”
