WASHINGTON, D.C. Turns out Haley Stevens cares more about hating President Trump than keeping Detroit safe. After Mike Rogers rightfully called for the National Guard to be deployed in Detroit to reduce crime, Haley Stevens posted on X, “Was wrong in ‘67 and it’s wrong now.”

Yet, in 2016 she called for the National Guard to be deployed in Chicago. What changed, Haley?

“Mike Rogers is committed to cracking down on crime, restoring law and order, and ensuring Detroiters feel safe in their community,” said NRSC Regional Press Secretary Samantha Cantrell. “Meanwhile, Democrats like Haley Stevens would rather put lives in danger than admit crime is out of control. The contrast couldn’t be clearer.”
