For Harry Reid, it’s a "huge amount" of his time.
The Washington Post reports that Harry Reid is working around the clock to ensure that his rubber stamp, Catherine Cortez Masto, can advance the failed Reid-Obama agenda in the United States Senate:
The formidable political machine Harry M. Reid built in Nevada will face its most difficult task to date when it tries to hold on to the Senate seat being vacated by the retiring minority leader next year…Replacing Reid on the ballot will be Catherine Cortez Masto, a former state attorney general whose campaign will rely heavily on the political infrastructure the outgoing senator assembled in the past decade… [Reid] said that he is “devoting a huge amount of my time” to helping Masto win at home…
The bad news for Masto: her biggest benefactor might have less time to devote.
The Associated Press reports that Reid is under investigation by a Utah prosecutor:
A Utah county prosecutor said Wednesday he is investigating U.S. Sen. Harry Reid of Nevada in connection with a pay-to-play scheme involving two former Utah attorneys general.
The good news for Masto: as the investigation surfaces, she is set for another day of hiding.
