Hassan’s lack of leadership has not gone unnoticed. A December editorial from the Union Leader blasted Hassan for “following the leader” and parroting Kelly Ayotte.

But Hassan’s silence on this issue was particularly odd when you consider how deeply she supports President Obama’s Iran deal. In fact, Maggie Hassan’s support of the deal was the first bit of “news” her campaign made. Hassan voiced her support for the Iran deal in her first interview as a Senate candidate, calling it, “the best available option.”
