The New Hampshire Union Leader reported last week that Governor Maggie Hassan has been skipping out on her duties as Governor quite a bit lately. In the month of April alone, Hassan spent 12 days out of state.
Now, NH1 reports that Hassan is hightailing it out of state AGAIN today…this time to New York City for a high profile fundraiser with Vice President Biden.
Bizarrely, when asked about her jet setting around the country by NH1, Hassan said, “I was in state for many of the days that they’re talking about.”
All of this back-and-forth about Hassan’s out of state travel is a far departure from what she promised voters when she announced her Senate campaign in October, stating, “My focus each and every day will be on my job as Governor of the state of New Hampshire, a job I love.”
