Heidi Heitkamp just voted against an amendment that would block funding for Planned Parenthood, which is the nation’s leading abortion provider, reconfirming her fiercely pro-abortion record.
Heitkamp made news earlier this year when she celebrated her vote against restricting abortions after 5 months of pregnancy by high-fiving Chuck Schumer. Her actions earned her the nickname “High-Five Heidi.”
Looks like “High Five Heidi” will once again have an opportunity to celebrate abortion with Schumer, as she’s set to attend a New Jersey fundraiser with the New York liberal tonight.
“Once again Heidi Heitkamp has sided with the liberal wing of the Democratic Party instead of North Dakota voters,” said NRSC Spokesman Michael McAdams. “High-Five Heidi has made it clear the only thing that matters when she casts a vote is pleasing Washington liberals and her left-wing donors.”
