Heidi Heitkamp confirmed to North Dakotans that her declarations of independence are a complete sham, siding with Chuck Schumer and the unhinged left to oppose President Trump’s nominee to the Supreme Court.
Despite North Dakota voters resoundingly approving of Judge Kavanaugh, polls this week revealed 56% and 60% of North Dakotans support Kavanaugh being confirmed, Heitkamp abandoned her constituents when they needed her most.
“With her partisan decision to vote against President Trump’s qualified Supreme Court nominee, Judge Brett Kavanaugh, Heidi Heitkamp can wave goodbye to her reelection prospects,” said NRSC Spokesman Michael McAdams. “Voters now know Heitkamp’s loyalty lies with the liberal resistance rather than President Trump and North Dakota.”
