Catherine Cortez Masto has never been a very memorable candidate, spending much of her campaign dodging questions and lying to reporters about her public appearances so she wouldn’t have to talk to them.
So when Hillary Clinton’s running mate flubbed her name and called her Kathleen, it might not have come as a surprise. But he got the message across: a vote for Cortez Masto is a vote to “honor” the bitter, partisan legacy of Harry Reid.

Reid went to bat for his handpicked candidate in a Politico interview this morning, only solidifying that Cortez Masto would be just another partisan who makes Washington politics a higher priority than Nevada families:
“Catherine [Cortez Masto] – I have great admiration for her…I’m just trying to elect my friends.”
When asked what kind of Senator Cortez Masto would be, Reid responded:
“I don’t think you could clone me.”
Didn’t stop him from trying.
